Our Success: Giving Back

Did you know? It is said that Webster’s first dictionary in 1806 defined success as being “generous, prosperous, and kind.” Regrettably, the most recently published definition of success is “getting or achieving wealth, respect, and fame.” We are honored to do business based on the 1806 definition and are proud of our strong community involvement.

You may have noticed our famous pink delivery truck in honor of breast cancer awareness. One of our biggest charitable events is the Superior Sally Propane Request. For every customer who requests delivery from our Superior Sally pink truck, Superior Energy will make a donation to one of our charities. To this day, it's one of our favorite endeavors.

That was the start of our current work in the community. Follow us on Facebook to see our current and past charity events include pet adoptions and holiday toy drives.

We are happy to support the following organizations:

We take pride in our hard work and dedication towards community involvement. Over the years, we've donated and contributed to various youth sports organizations, and other foundations such as Shriners Hospitals for Children and The Masonic Charities.

Some Of Our Charities

Children across the state stand up for rescue pets each summer by donating proceeds from lemonade sales to pets in the care of the CT Humane Society. PLUS, we at Superior Energy, LLC MATCH all lemonade funds raised!

Superior Energy is proud to support our local K9 unit and the important work of the Connecticut Police Work Dog Association (CPWDA). We recently enjoyed seeing a training session with Thor, the K9 narcotics work dog of the Vernon Police Station, where we presented a donation of $500 to the CPWDA to go towards Thor's continued education and protection garments.

YOU can get involved too, stay tuned for more details about an upcoming fundraiser. Click here to learn more about the CPWDA and follow them on Facebook.

The Independence Day festivities continued at our Vernon Fun Zone at July in the Sky on July 5th as we celebrated another successful year of fun! All proceeds were donated to benefit  The Vernon Parks and Recreation Department summer camp program so that every child in our community has the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled summer. Thank you all so much for coming out, making a difference, and celebrating our country's birthday with us.
