Holiday Toy Drive 2025
The Town of Vernon Fire Department delivered toys to nearly 500 children, a near 100% increase over last year.
Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make the holidays brighter for so many children.
Arctic Splash 2025 Fundraiser
Congrats to all the brave souls who took the plunge at The Vernon Parks and Recreation Department Annual Arctic Splash on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. We’re honored to have received the award for sponsoring the most summer camp scholarships this year. Supporting our community—and having a little fun while we’re at it—is what it’s all about.

It was an absolutely beautiful day for our 2025 Annual Pet Adoption Event with the CT Humane Society on October 4, 2025. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, 31 pets found their forever homes, and over $10,000 was raised to support CT Humane Society animals still in need. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success — we can’t wait to see you again next year!
