Vernon Fire Department Toys for Tikes annual toy drive program, where firefighters gather new, unwrapped toys to distribute to infants through 12-year-olds.

Thanks for another great year saving pets lives!
It was an absolutely beautiful day for our 2025 Annual Pet Adoption Event with the CT Humane Society on October 4, 2025. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, 31 pets found their forever homes, and over $10,000 was raised to support CT Humane Society animals still in need. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success — we can’t wait to see you again next year!
