October 17, 2026 | Ellington, CT
What a pawsitively wonderful day! Superior Energy's annual Pet Adoption Event with the Connecticut Humane Society brought our community together on Saturday, October 17, at Ellington Agway, with some incredible results:
37 pets found their forever homes, and $11,000 was raised to support the Connecticut Humane Society! At Superior Energy, we're not just keeping homes warm. We're proud to help pets find warm, loving homes, too!
A Community Effort Worth Celebrating
We're grateful to everyone who adopted, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. We were also delighted to welcome back Connecticut State Senator Jeff Gordon, who stopped by again this year to show his support for the event!
Superior Energy was proud to help cover adoption fees, alongside generous sponsors who helped reduce adoption costs for select pets. Every contribution helped make a difference for animals and families in our community.
A special thank-you to the entire Superior Energy crew and the dedicated Connecticut Humane Society team and volunteers for their time, energy, and hard work.
We're also grateful to Ellington Agway for once again hosting the event, DiFiore Ravioli Shop for serving food, Somers Veterinary Hospital for participating, and WJMJ Catholic Radio for broadcasting live.
Thank You to Our Sponsors & Supporters!
This event wouldn't be possible without the generosity and involvement of our local businesses and community partners.
